Description
In celebration of SpaceX's second ISS resupply flight; and its mission patch, I’ve have made one of my own.
This took just under 3 hours (?) to make.
The patch is meant to be highly symbolic. The spacecraft in the middle is the Messenger CEV (which I’m still working on).Specifically, it’s one of its many variants, this one being a Messenger L-U (Lite Unmanned), a low earth orbit alternative to the interplanetary based messenger CEV. The Earth and Moon are also shown, as the L-U while optimized for LEO missions, can still be used for lunar expeditions. The Earth and Moon are shown in part because they are the 2 most important factors for manned space exploration.
The CTS-1 Mission Summary should be posted soon.
ARCHIMEDES Project is still on, with an extended mission planned.
In addition to Manned Missions and ARCHIMEDES being updated, at least 2 other projects are also being considered, even though they may affect the ones I’m doing already.
